Just in response to the negative Gurney/Henry Fields comments. Overall I have had good luck with seeds from Gurney's and Henry Fields(they and some others are affiliated)but especially good luck with Henry Fields corn seed, strawberry plants, birch trees and scotch pine. My chief complaint would be the lack of variety, which is why I no longer order from them. No luck with either of their rasberries, white pine - they both refunded or replaced everything the next year(s). After 7 years, my dwarf fruit trees(Gurney) finally started to produce last year(got 7 pears on one tree...lol). IMO both places' seed is overpriced even with the $25 off(plus $10 to ship the seed pkts). Their nursery stock is questionable but can...be a deal. Four Seasons Nursery(a similar but differnt company?) has some deals if you don't care about starting out with a sapling - just hang on to your reciept/order #... I think alot of times peoples problems are a result of user error. They have a great and easy return policy. Just don't get suckered into buying too much of their overpriced stuff while trying to take "advantage" of the $25 off "deal"...Their corn seed is about the only thing I might consider buying again. Too many other websites nowadays with a much better selection and value.

I think a lot of these people resell the products for a profit, of course the aren't going to say that on TV then the tax man will hunt them down. They will buy 90 bottles of mustard (or whatever) with coupons and work it so they make money on the mustard. i.e. Mustard is on sale for $1. They have coupons enough for 90 bottles that add up to a savings of $1.50 on each. So, they make 50 cents on a bottle which in turns, pays for their meat. Then they either resell the mustard or give it away, or some just hoard it, why, I don't know. I love couponing, and on Friday I had a nice haul of a savings at $80. Far from the extreme couponers but for me a huge and exciting deal! If I get coupons for stuff like free baby formula (and there are no babies in this house anymore) I will either get the formula and drop it off at the food bank or leave the coupon on the shelf where the formula is, so that whoever sees it and buys that product can benefit from it. I also do that with coupons that are getting close to expiry, just leave them on the shelves for someone else. I do "hoard" some stuff, because I just can't refuse the great deal, but it's great to have for all the food drives that come around a few times a year, I always have lot's of stuff for them. I would love to coupon on a bigger scale, but it is so time consuming. But it's nice to be able to save every a little something every week on stuff that you would generally buy anyway. No one leaves this house to get something without asking Mom if she has a coupon for it. Usually I do! Then there is groupon, omg, in love....!
