Do any of you have a land line with T-Mobile? I talked to a rep in the mall and it only cost $10. plus a dollar something in tax. It is in cooperation with our cable company. I had not heard of it before and wanted to talk to someone who uses it.

Here is a link that might be useful: cheap land line

Per the info from the link you provided it does not sound like it is a landline, but instead a VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)

Here’s what you need to get started:

• A home broadband Internet connection. Sorry, dial-up, satellite, and WiMax (Clearwire or Xanadoo) are not compatible

• A mobile line of service with a qualifying nationwide plan, priced at $39.99 or higher

• A new line of T-Mobile @Home service

• The T-Mobile @Home HiPort wireless router or adapter.

It sounds like one needs quite a bit to get started with that $10 line.

Yes I used the wrong terminology. I should have said home phone. My cordless would still be the home phone.
