Savings on Lands End

Posted by sudiepav (My Page) on

My husband likes buying clothes from Lands End. We were at Sears yesterday looking at some appliances and on the way to that dept., we walked through the Lands End section. My husband found a sport coat, regularly $219, marked down to $50, with another 30% off. Ended up being less than $40 with tax. We check their catalogues and websites, and I feel this was a true markdown. It was a great tweed, and in his size too!

RE: Savings on Lands End

Lands' End is good at that. Their Web site and their paper catalog (last I ever saw one) contain clearance sections, and some larger cities have "Land's End Inlets", which sell overstocks, returns, poorly-chosen colors, etc. Our area even has a "Not Quite Perfect" store at which Lands' End sells the returned monogrammed stuff, the seconds, etc. I've picked up some really good stuff at those stores, and I consider their stuff a decent value even at their regular prices.
