| Try and have a look at this one through your local library..."Vinegar, Duct Tape, Milk Jugs & More...by Earl Proulx and the editors of Yankee Magazine. It seems to hold some interesting and new ideas...just thought I'd pass it along to anyone who might be interested in some new ideas to repair restore revive or replace items in your everyday life (OK I typed that right off the cover!) | That book sounds great. Thanks for the recommendation. Since I don't use the library in my area, I just checked Amazon.com and they have that and his other books - used. Much cheaper. I always buy used books. Also, I have found Amazon and other sites are cheaper on specific books than ebay. Don't know why. If I just want a load of mysteries to read, I use ebay. If I bid carefully, I can get good books for $.25 delivered. |
