Health Ins...Low deductible or High?

Wasn't sure to post here or on Household Finances but I 'll probably go there too. We've been looking for health ins and am totally confused between the low & high deductibles. Which will give you the best or most affordable health care and be able to save money. My husbands employer says it would cost alot to go through his company's work plan, as he has bad health himself and said we may find it more affordable on our own but he would pay 70, we 30...Thank You!!!

RE: Health Ins...Low deductible or High?

Hi,

I had a high deductible for some time being self-employed. It worked for me as I was healthy. It was through Lifewise.

If you look under Retirement Forum there is a current post on the subject. Good luck!
