What if you put both doors in the "bottom left" corner of the linen closet? Then you have the rest of the closet for shelving. The only negative to adding a door would be if you left the other door where it is - you could technically still get a 12" shelf behind it. If you put both doors in the corner you would literally just be taking away the space for the doors and that is it. If you use pocket doors, just be careful not to screw through the wall with your shelving anchors to the point of the screw hitting or scratching the pocket door when it is returned in the frame :). One more thing, if you did out-swinging doors and still put them both in the corner, it looks as though there is enough room to open them up and have them land on the wall between themselves and the vanities. Not that you would be leaving the linen closet door open all of the time, but it would be out of the way at least when it is open! Good luck, nice bathroom!!!

The last time I was at BB&B was 2 weeks ago and I remember seeing a sign on the window... as of Feb 28 they would no longer be accepting Linens N' Things coupons. I was surprised they were extending it that long. But no notices about their own coupons so I assume nothing has changed as far as that goes. So where are my BB&Y coupons? They haven't sent me any in weeks which is highly unusual because I used them as soon as I received them so they know I'm a regular customer. I am starting to get a little worried that their coupons will stop OR become few and far between now that their competitor is gone. Well I've got news for them. I won't shop in their store unless I get my coupon! lol I can hold out longer than they can. ;-)

Snookums, I found that same tactic was happening when Mervyns went out of business. Everything was brought up to the regular retail price, then marked down 20%. What was so ridiculous is that the weekly ad from 2 weeks earlier had the stuff on sale for less than half the marked down price! The store was mobbed, but no one was buying, and everyone was complaining. Eventually they marked things down a bit more, but it was mostly junky stuff...the good, brand name things never were marked down. For example, Levi's were never discounted. I don't know what they did with the extra stock, probably sold it to a liquidator or even donated it to charity. Whatever they did, the going out of business 'clearance' was a joke. Only one Oregon LnT...and that mall has had a lot of closures lately. The one by me is business as usual.

well! We all got new pillows today! LNT is having a Buy 1 Get 60% off the second pillow, plus the 25% off on top of it...woohoo! I called our local BBB and they will take it, too...so I can print another and shop some more...
