I put down the season long grub control and it has worked every year. Put it down now if you feel the prblem is starting.

I'd be afraid that any heat on it would melt it...

If this were my couch, I would take the cushion to a shoe repair shop because they work with all sorts of leather items. I've taken torn leather jackets to shoe repair places and had them fixed. Extrapolating from my jackets, I expect they will probably patch it on the inside - you'll still see the tear but it won't go any further and it won't be as obvious. You may have to get along without that cushion for a week or two while it's being fixed, but at least it would get fixed. Call ahead to make sure they do those sorts of repairs.

Well, tryed the peanut butter with no luck and couldn't find the goop stuff so decided to 'carefully' try the polish remover so put a little on a q-tip, held my breath, and did a little spot and it came off so carefully done the rest(size of a quarter), then immediately rubbed on some of my eye makeup remover with aloe vera jell & wiped that off real quick. I also tryed the 'eye sweep' stuff by itself too but it didn't take the polish off, but thought since it was gentle enough for the eye area it should be ok for my jacket! lol. I am sooo happy & also learned my lesson with the nail polish!
