Leather jacket repair?

My husband bought an inexpensive leather jacket today & found a small hole on the collar. It was the only jacket his size so we can't get another one to exchange. He wants to seal the small hole so it doesn't get bigger. Please some input.

If this hole is on a seam, I recommend going to a place that has a machine that can sew leather: 1. Shoe repair stores even better: 2. dry cleaners that repair shoes and do alterations If this is a hole in the leather, I'm not sure what to recommend. Good luck!

I got a catalogue which featured mainly gimmicky little things over the weekend. It's called Harriet Carter and they had a leather repair kit featured in it. Maybe you can find it on the 'net.

Definetly a Shoe Repair, They have the machine for it. From experience a small hole can't cost you more than $6.
