| Thanks to everyone that responded to my post.
I'm feeling much better about my retirement. It took some getting used to the thought that "I don't have to". I've always been the kind of person that felt my time was valuable and I had to always be doing something productive. I now babysit my 2 year old GD during the day. It's not an everyday thing but enough for me. I've also given myself permission that it's okay to chill out and relax..I've earned it. Your suggestions about volunteering were great. I was about to when my daughter asked if I'd watch my GD so she could go to days. Thanks to you all.... Diana |

| Good luck and it sounds like you're making an excellent start. Yes, it is ok to relax and read that book you've always been meaning to read, take that trip, do all the other things you never had time for. Go for it! |
