Whew!! That's over for another four years.
I thought maybe because of my birth date I'd have to take the complete test over again but just had to do the eye exam. What a relief!!

RE: Driver's License

I have been told ours (kansas) are good for 6 years now. The last time I renewed there were clerks sitting around doing nothing, no line at all. I told the gal taking care of me, "another mug shot", she laughed and said if you don't like it, we'll do it over.

I double-checked the temp license they gave me and it is good until 2010!!. I tried to renew on line but for some reason it wouldn't go through. They mail the new updated license to me.
I went early in the morning and no line just like you Jonesy. I had to do the eye thing and tried my regular 4.0 glasses I wear all the time and then told the gal I'd have to use my Prescriptions and she said ok give it a try!!

It's a load off my shoulders that's for sure. Just to get it done. I feel the same way every year for the safety stickers for the cars !!

We can renew our car tags online, but they have a online service charge of $40 something for two vehicles.
