REVISED: state-by-state retirement tax maps

I was advised that the previous link I posted was now inactive. Kiplinger has updated the state-by-state interactive tax maps to reflect changes for 2011.

Anyone thinking of downsizing should definitely check this out. It's a very easy to use map, and there's quite a few surprises when you can actually compare taxes comprehensively from one state to another.

PLEASE DO NOT POST any responses here, as that will initiate a rise and fall in this posting's priority on the discussion index. Thank you, and I hope some people find this useful as they consider where to retire.

Here is a link that might be useful: Revised: State by state interactive map of taxes
