| The GDO will open to about 3/4 open and stop one out of every 25 times. The GDO does not work for about five (5) minutes. At the end of the five (5) minutes the lights will go out on the unit and the door will work fine. Any ideas. |

| Try adjusting the up force just a bit. You will find it on the end of the opener near all those white wires. The light is programmed to stay on for 4½ minutes so that part is normal. I would also check the springs to make sure one isn't broken and also remove the cover and check the drive gear. It is white nylon and is just in front of the motor. |
