| I have just replaced the gears on my Craftsman GDO which were stripped. The repair inst. say to run the opener untill the sprocket completes a clockwise cycle. When the limit switch reaches the down or up contact the motor does not stop or reverse but contunues to run. Could it be a logic board problem? Does the door have to be connected? |

| no the door does not need to be connected. Did you make sure the RPM sensor (the rotating plastic bladed piece) is fully seated so the fins go through the sensor? |
