Compatible Garage Door Openers

I have two garage doors w/ different gdo units. One is a model # 139.53660SRT1 that is using a Sears Trinary Radio Control, and the other unit is model # 139.53992D which uses a 139.53753 remote. Both remotes are working fine with their respective gdo however I cannot program them to work with the other gdo. Is this possible? What do I need to do. I have the manuals for both and read them, and tried all of the "programming" suggestions but nothing seems to work.

Your openers operate on different radio frequencies. The 53660 is 390 megacycles and the 53992 is 315 megacycles.
