| I have a 6.5 Hp sears chainsaw. Starts fine, but after using the saw for a while when I go to engage the saw in cutting and the blade will stop rotating. The saw does appear to have a clutch on the drive shaft. Does the clutch need replacing or is there another problem? The engine continues to run, but will not turn the blade. |

| Take the saw to a repair facility. There are several things that could be wrong and you have not given enough information to accurately diagnose the problem. |
| Mae sure you get an estimate for repairs. Sears saws have not been high quality in a VERY long time. |
| Some repairers won't touch them. They are hard to work on and cheaper to replace. Parts are a problem too. |
