| I am installing a floating floor in a basement and the finished floor adjoins a tiled sun room. The finished floor is 1 1/4 inches higher than the tiled floor and I have to make some kind of transition. I was thinking of getting appropriate stock 1 1/4 thick (perhaps glue a couple of pieces together) then cut at an angle to slope into the lower room. My question is what should be that slope? The doorway is a FrenchDoor 64 inches wide. |
