I have a Craftsman Garage door opener (actually, I have two - one for each side of the garage) that is about 5 years old.

The bulb on the left side of the unit blew several weeks ago. No big deal, I just kept forgetting to replace it.

Last week, the door suddenly quit opening from the wall transmitter. The car remote worked fine. I was able to get the opener to listen to the wall switch after a couple of reprogramming tries. I didn't touch the main unit - I was able to do the programming from the wall switch according to the instructions.

Now, a small yellow light is flashing on the unit itself. I thought it might be related to the burnt out bulb, but I've finally replaced that, and the flashing continues.

Are any of these events related? Is the flashing yellow light a message of impending doom? Mind you - everything is working now, just the little yellow light flashes.
