| Hello, I have made an offer on a house that has a saggy floor in the kitchen and it appears the roof is sagging in the same area. The exterior of the home is brick and doesn't appear to have structural problems/ cracks...it was built in 1958. I am worried now that this will be a big problem to fix, but not a "neccesary" repair as listed is my purchase agreement. I have not hired an inspector yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be the cause and if it sounds like a big fix? Thanks for any insight. |

| Hire the inspector... you do really want to proceed on guesses from people here who've never seen the house and are not qualified? |
