| I just got new gutters installed a few months ago and I am starting to notice the ugly black streaks (seem to be known as "tiger stripes" in the trade) coming down the front face of the gutter.
Besides cleaning them periodically, anyone have any tips on preventing the streaks/stripes in the first place? [Oh, by the way, the gutters do not have any sort of leaf cover on them.......Don' really need it. Not many trees, and my house is a small ranch, so it isnt hard to get on the roof with my leaf blower and just blow them out periodically...] |

| A coat of autobody wax will prevent the streaks from staining. Use a synthetic compound for longer lasting results. Michael |
