How to Remove Contact Cement from Concrete Floor?

Posted by beanster (My Page) on

A large section of a warehouse that I recently rented has a lot of contact cement overspray on the floor. I'd like to put down a concrete paint or stain but I know I need to remove the contact cement first.

Any ideas on how to do this?

scrape it off. this may/may not be easy nor is it guaranteed to clean it well enough to stain. it will clean it enough for paint though.

We tried that today without luck. Its too soft and gummy.
We are getting desperate to figure this out.
