Brickeyee, I hope you are well. You are such a great contributor to GW Home Forums. I hope you get this message and may post from time to time. You are missed!

He was a frequent poster, and very informative, despite having an occasional grumpy streak. I haven't seen any posts from him in months, and I don't recall any of his last postings saying anything about leaving or "retiring" from these forums.

Thanks, kudzu9. I hope he occasionally checks these forums and see that we miss him. He was very helpful, to me at least in cutting to the chase. I could use his wisdom on those crawl space lintels. Good news is an experience SE came and checked house bottom to top and side to side and says no house foundation problems, has seen/dealt with many lintels in crawls (including restaurants) and can work with ours to maintain structural function.

Anyway, hope Brickeyee sees this.
