| I have a Sears/Craftsman 1/2 HP chain driven garage door opener model # 139.53673SRT3
I purchased this used. When I purchased the door I specifically asked the guy if he was able to use it without the sensors "eyes" and he said he never used them. Well what I figured out must have happened is he always used it from the inside and you can hold the wired inside button down for about 10-15 seconds and the door will shut as long as you hold it down. This is annoying but fine if you are coming home, but a HUGE annoyance when you are leaving and you have to run back inside and shut the door and then run back out another door. Is there anyway to override this problem, so I can use my remote on the outside or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. gloriabee |

| Seems like I answered your question somewhere else. There is no way to override the sensors. |
