2 outlets on the same wall stop working, but do not throw a breaker, then start working again. Is this a short or something i should worry about?

RE: wiring

Yes, sure sign of a loose connection. Loose connections can spark when the circuit is energised----possibly causing a fire.

The loose connection will be between the breaker box and the first problem outlet. If you do not have the expereince or knowlege to look/fix, get an electricial or qualified handyperson to fix it.
