| I have a piece of sub-floor that's badly damaged and needs to be replaced... the problem is that the damaged spot is in between the floor joist and the wall, and I don't have access to the joist under the wall. I'm hoping someone can offer a suggestion as to what I can do.

| Place a piece of 2x between the joists to hold up the cut ends. A smaller piece (2x8 with 2x10 joists)is fine since it is only a section of sub-floor. A piece of 2x4 on edges is likely acceptable.
