Sure, it is possible. The only gotcha I can imagine---other than the normal removal hassles---would be loose edges in each corner.

I don't think it's a big deal. Use a straight edge and a razor blade to strike straight lines into the corners; steam off the wallpaper you don't want; slip a little wallpaper paste behind any loose edges of the remaining wallpaper and smooth them down with a smoothing knife.
