| Hello, I have a Kitchen Aid Whisper Quiet dishwasher. Unit acts like there is no power, all I did is check breaker which WAS blown, but after I reset it, the dishwasher still does not operate, i.e. it's DEAD.
Looking for common cause(s) and whether or not it's time to replace this machine, it's only a few years old. Thanks! |
Follow-Up Postings:
|
| Turn the breaker to the off position, remove the toe-kick panel. Remove the cover where the power supply connector is connected. Remove the wire nuts from the colored and white conducers and separate. Turn the breacker back on and with a volt-ohm meter check for the presence of voltage across the colored to white conductors of the supply line. |

| Also check that the dishwaher is not on a circuit with a GFCI outlet. The GFCI might need to be reset also. |
