Burning plywood scraps

I'm wondering what the latest information may be on the health implications of smoke from the burning of plywood scraps. Other than general effects of wood smoke, which we'd all seek not to breath too much of anyway, are there any special effects thought to be associated with the burning or gasification of the glues?

Would there likely be any differences between the toxicity (or lack of any) of more recent glues versus, say, glues used in plywood 30 years ago? (a question relevant to remodeling, I think).

I'm in a rural area where the option most at-hand is to take responsibility for the scraps ourselves, rather than offloading the problem by driving them to the dump. Thanks for any useful info.

Joel
