Have questions about first time purchase of HVAC

I am inundated with information regarding the purchase of a HVAC for my 826sf home. Do I need a 2 stage furnace? Does this require a chimney liner (which I currently do not have with my old one stage furnace)? Also, which is best a Trane or Lennox furnace?

The Lennox contractor is offering me a 2-stage 95% efficiency G61V furnace along with a R22 or R410A A/C ($7190 not including rebates). The other licensed contractor is an independent offering me a Trane 2-stage 95% efficiency furnace with R22 A/C($4700). Since this is my first HVAC purchase, I am not sure which will give me more bang for the buck. Thanks for your advice.

There is a heating and A/C forum in GW that is very active might want to ask there.
