'Sponge' Painting with sponge or paper towels?

Posted by mrs_mom3 (My Page) on

Hi, hope I'm posting in the right place. Has anyone used the Valspar Brushed Pearl tecnique on their walls? I was wondering if I could do a different tecnique instead, but still using the "Brushed Pearl" paint. My walls are being spray textured, so I wanted to do the "base" color, but then instead of brushing on the "brushed pearl" glaze, I wanted to sponge it on either with a sponge or a paper towel. What do you all think? Please help me. And if you've done this, would you mind posting some pictures?

Thanks!!!!!

There are two other forums where you are more likely to get an answer - Home Decorating and Paint. I think Home Decorating is probably your best bet.

You can look toward the top of this page for "Forums" and go to "Home Forums" and find links to both. Good luck
