Need informatino on screen doors

Posted by careercounselor (My Page) on

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like to have a screen door installed on the condo I rent so I get some cross ventilation and the light that would come if I could keep that door opened during these warmer summer months. I will probably need to pay for this myself and need recommendations on approximate cost and where to purchase one--would Home Depot or Lowes be a good place and would they come out and install it do I need to go to one of the vendors who specializes in these doors?
Thank you for your help.

Get a side coiling invisible/retractable one so you can take it with you when you move.

You rent, you have to ask your landlord if they will allow it.

That said, on my house, I called a local company. They had the same storm door I wanted for $100 less than Home Depot and installed it for free.
