Sorry, wasn't sure what topic to put this in, but I need some advice on how to best add weatherproof padding to a few beams on a swingset.

The company sells a pad (http://www.gorillaplaysets.com/Swing-Set-Safety-Pad-p/06-1002.htm?1=1&CartID=1) but it only fits on straight beams (and of course the playset only has 1 straight beam). All other beams (as you can kind of see in the picture) are either curved or have another beam coming down forming a T-shape.

I was thinking of maybe putting pipe insulation, wrapping it in a tarp, and then finishing it off with weatherproof tape (vinyl or duct). But I'm not sure if this is the best idea.

Please let me know if you can think of anything else.
