Lift Master Garage Door

My friends garage door will not close.(hit the button and it appears to be jammed or locked up) I removed the chain and the motor operates normally. I re-installed chain with the garage door in the down/closed position it operated fine going up "no issues on the way the up" but it keeps getting stuck on the up stop and will not come down to close.

Loosen the chain enough to relieve the strain. Run the opener until the door closes. Now locate the 'up limit' on the side of the motor unit and turn this 2 full turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Tighten the chain.
