12 year old Anderson patio door; on the exterior the vinyl cladding has slightly begun peeling away from the wood core. At most 1/4 of an inch wide and 4-5 inches long. Out of warranty; Anderson says (not surprisingly) they don't provide repair recommendations but will give a discount on replacing the entire sliding section. Any suggestions on gluing or reattaching the peeling area? The few posts I've seen about this have mostly said that just gluing it back together is iffy; works for 6 moths or so and then has to be done again.
