Removing Solid Color Water Based Stain Coating From Driveway

We have H&C Solid Color Water Based Stain Coating on our Driveway. It faded, we hate it. A very long and boring story short we are seeking a way to naturally wear down / remove the finish without using grinders or chemical strippers. Sounds like an impossible request yet hope someone has a magical answer.

Sandblast the top layer off. But, there will still be some pigmentation that has penetrated. If you want the color completely gone, you'd need to sandblast, drill some holes, insert some rebar stubbs, lay some mesh, and then have a cap poured on top.
