Craftsman Garage Door opener remote problem

I have a Craftsman garage door opener 1/3hp chain drive part number 41A5021-3E

The garage door doesn't work with the remotes. I replaced the battery in one thinking that was the issue, then the next day it didn't work again, so I unplugged the battery and plugged it right back in to the remote, and it opened the garage door. The following day it did it again, so I started using the other remote, and that worked once. Now the last 3 days neither one has worked.

RE: Craftsman Garage Door opener remote problem

The fact you are having the same problem with both your remotes points directly to the receiver which is a part of the logic board. The part number you gave is the part number for the logic board. If you live in a large community I would call around to door opener service companies and see if they just happen to have a used one. They usually keep some of the parts when they swap out openers.
