| The lower panel of a white-finished aluminum storm door has been attacked with a black felt-tipped marker. The "artist" had some talent. I prefer the factory finish to anything I can apply to cover the marker. What cleaner is likely to remove the most of the marker without damaging the original white finish? |

| xylene. That is the solvent used inmost permanent markers. Test anything you try on an inconspicuous spot first. |

| Try anything you have on the shelf after testing on an inconspicuous spot. The colored chemical has to be soluble in something. |
