$6700 for 154 ft of gutters and fascia?

Just got a gutter quote and I'm trying to figure out if it's reasonable or not (it's better then the last one I got but still).

$6700 for 154 feet of 32 gauge aluminum gutters, 6 downspouts, fascia replacement, and gutter covers (no soffit replacement).

It still seems high to me but the last guys we had out were in the 8k range for a similar product!

I think it should be $3500.

you don't include any information about the access 1 or 2 stories? hazards? if you got 2 numbers at $6.8k and $8k then I'd say there has to be something unique about your installation that's driving the price up.

Just my 0.02.

Mild pitch for roof. Split level with one about 70 feet of gutter on the second story, 80 feet on the first story. No hazards of note. The two companies giving a quote were both "high end" companies.

Got another quote today from a smaller gutter company whose claim was that, due to the pitch of the roof, 6'' gutters and 3x4 downspouts weren't warranted and would be a waste.

He also indicated that only a small portion of the fascia needed replacing. That quote was 2100 for small fascia replacement and 6'' gutters or 1400 for 5'' gutters (no gutter covers).

Thanks for the info!
