Engineered Septic System

What causes the ejection of water through a portal that is one of about six located in a line along on side of the leach field? The alert light is still green, but this has been happening for about six weeks. The system contains 2 tanks lower than the field and so a pump is required to pump the sludge into the field.

The green light is probably a level alarm for the dosing tank which is fine because the pump appears to work. It sounds like your field is saturated and the pumped effluent has no where to go but up.
