moving a downspout /gutter

I just bought a townhome with a downspout down the front of the house ( I just really noticed it the other day). The other units have the downspout running along the edge of the units- how much does it typically cost to move the downspout?

I just want to divert a section of it about 6 inches or less to the right, but keep the bottom section where it is. I would attach a pic, but I can't figure out how (cut and paste won't work)

Thanks!

If you're going to do this yourself, you can probably do it for less than $10 in parts at your local hardware store. Just take a picture with you and they'll give you the parts...probably a pair of bends, a bracket or two, and a couple of screws.

These forums don't allow for pictures directly. What you have to do is have the pictures online somewhere (like Flickr). The picture hosting companies will give you a link to that picture. Then put a bit of HTML into your message (img src="link to hosting service"). The ( ) need to be replaced with < > and you have to include the quotation marks. It's really not that hard to do.

You just add more images by repeating the image tag.

You can even change the font and font style if you like:
