RE: new garage door, old openers work?

you don't say how old the old remotes are. Your new manual should describe the programming procedure. If it doesn't work, I suspect that despite an identical physical appearnce, the PC board inside is not compatible with the new unit.

The best way to confirm is to see if the part number on the remote is listed as a replacement remote for the specific part number on the opener. All remotes are not created equal. You might e-mail or call Sears customer support and ask the question.
