My garage door opener chooses when it wants to work. Sometimes I have to get out and go into the house and press the button inside the garage. Sometimes that doesn't even work. When its really cold and I haven't used it in a day or so it refuses all together. Do I need a new battery for my remote or is the motor just going? I have a universal remote, not the one that came with it. The model I have is a Craftsman 1/2 hp Garage Door Opener, model# 53920. Thanks.
