| I recently purchased a home and do not know the code to the keyless entry pad for the garage door. The previous owner didn't know it either as he never used it. I do not have a manual so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to program a new code without having a current code.
My model # is 139.53636SRT. It was manufactured in 1995. Thanks! |

| First thing I would do is open it up and make sure the battery is still okay. On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter. |

| You need to remove the logic board and check for burnt or missing traces especially around the small transformer. Electrical storms and power surges love logic boards. |
