which adhesive? glass to shower door seal

The self-stick seal on a glass panel (next to shower door) has come loose for about a foot or so. Instead of replacing the seal, any idea what adhesive might tack it back in place? Surfaces are edge of glass panel to "not-so-sticky" self-stick backing of the seal.

3M makes a high strength adhesive (in a small tube), maybe even super glue. Just dry both surfaces with a hair dryer before applying the glue.

We use a good quality clear silicone.
