Hi all,

I have two older sears craftsman (made by chamberlin) garage door openers, model 139.65300. Both are operated with skylink smart switches and remotes as there were none when we moved into this home a few years ago. Both units seem to keep the light on after the door has opened or closed - this is a recent problem with one of them (had been working fine for several years) but the other has always (in our time here) kept its light on after operation. There is a humming noise coming from the units though the door is closed. As a result, I've unscrewed the bulbs but would really rather fix this and enjoy a little light. The pdf manual I found on the web doesn't have this trouble shooting in it - wondering if there is a change needing to be made to the chain tension or the limit settings after all these years of installation?
