Your elevation doesn't have clear enough details to be able to judge much of anything. Can your architect get you a better rendering of the elevation? What about pics of the current home as is?

In general, brick or stone is best used as it would have been if it were actually constructed from that material rather than the faux veneer that it actually is. That means not on gables and above windows, at the water table only instead of a "wainscotting look". Brick and stone also don't mix very well. One or the other should be what's picked, And then maybe one other material, like lap siding or cedar shingles. That's it. Too many people over embellish when they should really keep it simple.
