Opinion for a medicine cabinet

We are updating our bathroom. I am doing a 36" shaker style maple vanity with a Charcoal paint and a white vitreous china top and sink. The matching surface mount medicine cabinet and lights by Woodpro would run me about $900. This is for a 30" cabinet.

Any opinion on if that is the right size and an optional idea for another cabinet style or color? I don't want just plain mirror. Thanks

How about a white surface mount cab at 24" with 6" sconces on either side?

I found a pretty good guy on ebay! Painted wood cabs and pretty solid too. He was a bit slow though.
