Hi everyone!!

Quick question for ya. We have a full attic that is currently uninsulated (except under the floor). We are looking at turning it into a home theatre. I've been reaserching how to finish a attic without soffit vents. Not a whole lot of info out there. The dimensions of the attic are roughly 8ft at peak, 30 ft long and the knee wall will be approx 5ft. We would like to use the room between the knee wall and the roof as storage. It doesn't need to be insulated, I will insulate the back of the knee wall.

So ventilation currently consist of a vent running full length down the peak and a gable vent at each end. Once we start insulating do we need to install air chutes from the area that will be under the peak to the area behind the knee wall? Since there are no soffit vents, I really can't see how there would be any airflow behind the knee wall. Here is a pic of what we are starting with
