We replaced all of our 40 year old windows with Andersen 400 series. A combination of double hung, casement and patio doors, all with removable grills. We are having a heck of a time getting the grills (which warp quite easily) to stay in on the DH. Each door/window type had a different mechanism to attach to the frames. Only the DH are the issue. There's nothing for them to grab into. We are going back and forth with the dealer on these. We had an older (7 years old) DH from a previous renovation that had holes for the spring loaded thing to sit into. The "new design" no longer has this.
