Andersen 400 Tilt Wash DH Window Grill Issues?

Hello,

We replaced all of our 40 year old windows with Andersen 400 series. A combination of double hung, casement and patio doors, all with removable grills. We are having a heck of a time getting the grills (which warp quite easily) to stay in on the DH. Each door/window type had a different mechanism to attach to the frames. Only the DH are the issue. There's nothing for them to grab into. We are going back and forth with the dealer on these. We had an older (7 years old) DH from a previous renovation that had holes for the spring loaded thing to sit into. The "new design" no longer has this.

Any words of wisdom? thank you!!

Removable grilles on the 400 Tilt-Wash don't really work; it's just a bad design like the rest of the tilt-Wash sash.

The 400 Woodwright solves the problem. Since the frame is the same maybe they will swap for the Woodwright sash for free or with a discount. The cladding on the Woodwright is Fibrex instead of the Flexicron paint on the tilt-Wash so it's a major upgrade.
