fastening into metal studs - impact driver needed?

Posted by homebound (My Page) on

I've done well without a cordless impact driver in my pile of of tools, but now am doing some base and crown molding in a condo with metal stud walls. Is it a good time to invest in an impact gun or will the 'ole cordless work just fine for fastening fine thread screws into metal studs?

Thanks.

No impact is required.

Use the correct screws.
