The only problem I see with the design is building it so there's enough support for the door/false drawer, but a cabinet maker should be able to come up with a good design.

You can set it up anyway you like. I liked the symmetry of the drawer over door look and will set up the pullouts linking those two. No pictures yet. Doors and drawer fronts due next week.
Twenty four gallons is a big can.

We have a tip out, basically an upper cabinet with door hinged on the bottem and a shelf added to the bottem of the door, a small piece of decorative chain as a stop. Bought a can at Wal-Mart that uses a 30 gal. bag.

A year after I made this I saw one at an Amish furniture factory, very nice and very expensive and lacked a feature to clean out the cabinet.

Thanks for the input... Ron, you are correct. It won't be a 24 gallon. I was looking at the wrong can. It will be 13 gallon. Please post a pic if you can once your drawers and doors are installed!
