We're contemplating a remodel + addition on our 1952 California rancher. Currently the house is ~1700 sq ft, 3 bed, 2 bath.
Our wish list for the project includes:
4th bedroom with full bath
office
open kitchen / dining / living area (great room)
main living area connected to patio/deck at back of house
laundry room
Current floor plan is attached. Looking for any great suggestions.
My current thought is around creating the great room out of the current kitchen + new addition off the back (toward the right in the diagram). And then somehow dividing the old living + dining room into office and new bed/bath.
